Caroline Chang is the Director of Literacy at Bold Charter School. Ms. Chang’s own love of reading and literature has developed into a commitment to supporting all students as they grow into lifelong readers and develop their own ideas and voices. Ms. Chang started her career teaching 6th grade ELA in Passaic, NJ with Teach For America. She then taught middle and high school English for nine years at an independent school in New York City, where she worked on developing and refining curriculum in addition to teaching multiple grade levels. Ms. Chang earned a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University and a Master of Arts in English from Middlebury College.
