Taren Ikea is a Curriculum Design Lead at Bold Charter School. He began his career teaching high school math at an international school in Indonesia. For the past four years, Mr. Ikea has worked at a high-performing charter school in the Bronx, where he taught middle school math and served as a Grade Team Leader. He is passionate about infusing joy into math and making it an engaging, accessible subject for all. Mr. Ikea earned a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Math Education from Corban University and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University.
