Linnea Abeyta is the Director of Operations at Bold Charter School. Ms. Abeyta's commitment to operational excellence began at Harlem Village Academies, where she grew in her leadership role from Operations Manager to Director of Operations. Ms. Abeyta firmly believes that operational and academic excellence go hand in hand. She is excited to be part of the Bold team and support our teachers in providing the highest level of instruction for our students through seamless operations. Ms. Abeyta earned a Bachelor of Arts from The George Washington University.

Melissa Baker is a Teaching Fellow at Bold Charter School. Ms. Baker’s commitment to education began recently as she decided to pursue her Maters in School Counseling. While pursuing this degree Ms. Baker is determined and committed to providing support in the classroom. Ms. Baker is excited to join a team of devoted educators who are committed to providing exceptional education to all children. Ms. Baker earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University at Buffalo and a Masters in Strategic Communication from Seton Hall University.

Soi’more Cherry is a Kindergarten Lead Teacher at Bold Charter School. Ms. Cherry’s enthusiasm for teaching began in the Enlarged Cortland School District, where she spent two years as a preschool lead teacher followed by a year as a substitute teacher for grades K-5. Ms. Cherry believes deeply that by building character strength and fostering creativity, along with providing a rigorous curriculum, all students can and will surpass expectations of success. Ms. Cherry is delighted to join a team of educators who are committed to excellence and believe all children are capable of greatness. Ms. Cherry earned a Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Cortland.

As a founding team member at Bold, Ms. De Los Santos is committed to giving all children access to a world-class education and the tools they need to succeed academically and personally.

Leanna Dunsmore is the Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Bold Charter School. Ms. Dunsmore’s passion for teaching began at Success Academy Charter Schools, where she spent several years as the Special Education teacher in an ICT classroom before transitioning into an Instructional Coach role at Harlem Village Academies. Through Ms. Dunsmore’s experience of upholding high academic expectations while adapting instruction to meet the unique needs of every student, she determined that when provided with individualized supports, all children can and will succeed. Ms. Dunsmore is thrilled to join a team of educators who are committed to excellence and believe all children are capable of greatness. Ms. Dunsmore earned a Bachelor of Arts from Bucknell University and a Masters in Childhood Education and Special Education from Touro College Graduate School of Education. ‎

Andrew Foglia is the Founder and Executive Director of Bold Charter School. Mr. Foglia’s commitment to educational equity began during his tenure with Teach For America, during which he taught middle school math and science in Newark, NJ. After Teach For America, Mr. Foglia joined Success Academy Charter Schools, one of the highest-performing charter school networks across the country, where he was both a teacher and school leader. Mr. Foglia is dedicated to increasing access to world-class schools for all children, and leads BOLD in service of that mission. Mr. Foglia earned a Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University and a Masters in Education from Harvard University.

Carson Rockefeller is the Lead Science Teacher at Bold Charter School. Mr. Rockefeller believes that science is an integral part of every child's education because it builds their ability to think critically and problem solve. Mr. Rockefeller completed his undergraduate degree in Elementary Science Education from SUNY Oneonta and received his Masters from Hunter College in Elementary Science and Mathematics Education.

Yackira Rodolis is a Kindergarten Lead teacher at Bold Charter School. Ms. Rodolis’ love of teaching began when she first started working as a Montessori Preschool Teacher in Manhattan. She spent several years at the preschool level, and later decided to bring her joy and passion for teaching to the elementary level. Ms. Rodolis has been a kindergarten teacher for the past two years and is very excited to join a founding team of educators who believe in the potential of all children. Ms. Rodolis earned her Bachelors of Arts from Lehman College and a Masters in Early Childhood Education from Mercy College.

Ritu Singh is a First grade teacher at Bold Charter School. Ms. Singh’s love for teaching began at Success Academy Charter Schools, where she taught second grade. Ms. Singh believes that excellence is a mindset and by helping students build this mindset, all children can excel and reach their goals. She is ecstatic to be a part of the Bold team where she has the opportunity to make a strong impact on the lives of children everyday. Ms. Singh earned a Bachelor of Science from SUNY Oneonta and is currently pursuing a Masters program in Literacy.
